Installation:
1. Take a full database and file backup.
2. Import phase5_schema.sql.
3. Upload folders into the project root.
4. Open admin/hrms/phase5_dashboard.php.
5. Add these links to the admin left menu as required:
   - admin/hrms/phase5_dashboard.php
   - admin/hrms/management_dashboard.php
   - admin/hrms/monthly_lock.php
   - admin/hrms/audit_logs.php
   - admin/hrms/notification_queue.php
   - admin/hrms/biometric_alerts.php
   - admin/hrms/two_factor_staff.php
6. Optional cron:
   php cron/hrms_phase5_daily_alerts.php
   php cron/hrms_phase5_month_auto_lock.php 2026-07

Optional integration hooks:
- Before attendance correction save:
  require_once admin/hrms/_phase5_functions.php;
  hrms_phase5_guard_month_locked_or_exit(date('Y-m', strtotime($attendance_date)), 'Attendance');

- Before salary process save:
  require_once admin/hrms/_phase5_functions.php;
  hrms_phase5_guard_month_locked_or_exit($salary_month, 'Payroll');

- For any update log:
  hrms_phase5_log('Module Name', 'Action Name', $reference_id, $old_value, $new_value, $remarks);

Notes:
- All PHP code is written in English and PHP 5.6 compatible style.
- This patch does not delete or replace old records.
- TOTP works with Google Authenticator compatible apps. QR rendering can be connected with your existing QR library.
